With sector coupling to the energy transition

On the way to climate neutrality, the decarbonization of the energy system plays a key role. In the case of "sector coupling", the areas of industry, mobility, heat and electricity are considered in a network with the aim of reducing fossil fuels such as gas, coal and oil or replacing them with renewable energies. So-called Power2X technologies are used here, which make it possible to generate green gas, green fuels and heat with electricity from wind, PV and hydropower. How this can work and what is currently being researched and worked on here will be discussed in this next skill session.
