Performance analysis and new standards for stationary battery storage

The EVO.BATT project, which starts in February 2025, is a comprehensive industry project with 15 external partners, carried out in cooperation with Energienetze and Green Power. The aim is to analyze the performance of stationary battery storage systems and to develop innovative standards for their evaluation.

Project goals

  • Measurements and tests: Performance and reliability measurements on existing battery storage systems, such as in gases and home shoe, to collect real data

  • Evaluation system: Development of an open and comparable evaluation system for the performance, reliability and aging of battery storage systems

  • KPIs for tenders: Definition of new key performance indicators (KPIs) that will serve as the basis for future tenders in the field of stationary battery storage
